"Just because you can't understand something, it doesn't mean it's wrong!"

Ever since I was little, I've been obsessed with books and reading. My dad would read me Shel Silverstein Poems, while my mother read things like Anne of Green Gables and the Chronicles of Narnia. I started writing in the third grade. I had to write a short story for a competition, and I won for my class. At the time I thought it was a best seller (it wasn't), and I was hooked with telling stories.

In high school, I was that kid with a notebook, scribbling down all the tales that came to me. Most went unfinished, but eventually, I got a few books under my belt. However, it wasn't until the Academy Series that I really thought about share my stories with the world. Soon after finishing it, I was living in DC, and Weed's world grew into Aida's and the magical world I loved continued to expand! While Aida is a spin-off of the Academy Series, it can also stand alone in its own right, with Aida front and center.
